The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions requiring intermediate or step-down level care.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

Interpret and respond to changes in patient conditions, including cardiac rhythm monitoring.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and Joint Commission standards.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a travel nursing environment.

Qualifications :

Active RN license in good standing (Compact State license preferred).

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in PCU, Step-Down, or Telemetry Unit.

BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
