Leadership And Enterprise Experiences Facilitator
Capital One's Enterprise Learning & Development (L&D) organization is seeking an experienced facilitator to deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences for leaders and associates across the company. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our learning experiences are delivered with user and business objectives at the forefront, are highly engaging, and consistently achieve measurement impact in the growth and development of our associates. Facilitate multi-day leadership development programs in collaboration with other facilitators and program teamsDeliver open enrollment competency courses for associates at all levelsProvide tailored facilitation aligned to specific stakeholder needsDeliver training on a mix of topics related to leaders, competencies, team effectiveness. This includes content for new people leaders on topics such as having difficult conversations, performance and talent management, giving and receiving feedback, advanced competencies, as well as open enrollment classes and team effectiveness sessions for intact and cross-functional teamsAdjust delivery seamlessly based on learner engagement, ensuring a balance between interactive and instructional techniquesIncorporate multi-modal techniques (e.g., shared digital spaces, virtual and in-person) that create an engaging and balanced learning experience for allHere's what you need to be successful :
Bring exceptional facilitation and communication skills with an ability to engage groups, generate conversation, and present content in a compelling and impactful styleSet clear, concise objectives that are easily understood by all learners and adjust them seamlessly based on learner needsProvide clear, tailored instructions that are adjusted in real time to ensure learner understanding and alignment with session objectivesRegularly check for understanding throughout the session and adjust the flow to keep learners aligned with the objectivesProactively share recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and emerging needs, grounded in data insightsPrepare, create, and maintain positive learning environments for associates ranging from entry-level / early career to senior leadershipBasic qualifications :
High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification4 years of facilitation experienceAbility and willingness to travel domestically, ~30% of the timeAt least 2 years experience leading teams with 2 or more direct reportsMust be located in Richmond or McLean, VAPreferred qualifications :
Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience in learning and development field2+ years of experience in leadership development or coachingCertification in CliftonStrengths, MBTI, SDI (Core Strengths), DiSC, or other team or personality assessmentsExperience in the financial services industryExperience with acting, improv, or public speakingAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA : $126,700 - $144,600 for Learning Manager
Richmond, VA : $115,200 - $131,500 for Learning Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
