Job Description
The Military Fixed Wing Team (MFW) Project Engineering team has an immediate opening for a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer supporting new product development of gas turbine engines. We are building a Systems Engineering organization to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving Aerospace environment. Join our team and help us build the future!
In this role, you will be the Systems Project Engineer, Cost Account Manager (CAM), and lead for the Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety (RMSS) workstream on a new centerline military turbofan engine program. You will own budget, risk, cost, schedule, and execution of the RMSS Agile workstream. You will ensure the work performed by the subject matter experts within RMSS is in accordance with the program plans and to an extremely fast paced program schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the RMSS work packages as CAM in charge of cost, budget, schedule, and risk managementEnsure all RMSS work is aligned to the program planning documents (e.g., System Development Plan, Requirements Management Validation and Verification Plan, ARP4754, ARP4761)Organizing work within the RMSS team and in accordance with Agile planning principlesEscalating properly when necessaryCommunicating status and risks clearly and appropriatelyBasic Qualifications
Due to US export control laws, must be a US PersonBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Systems, Aerospace, or Mechanical preferred)Minimum 5 years related engineering experience in the design, development, manufacture, and / or test of gas turbine enginesWe Value

Full-time, on-site attendance required for the first 6 months. Post 6 months, up to 2 days remote and 3 days on-site.
