Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.–5 : 00 p.m.

Job Summary :

The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the organization to patients visiting for laboratory services. This role requires a professional, empathetic, and detail-oriented individual who can perform quality blood specimen collections while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The PSR I is responsible for maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance while upholding the highest standards of service and care.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform specimen collection and processing duties accurately and efficiently in accordance with clinical and forensic collection procedures .

Verify patient identification and labeling accuracy, ensuring documentation completeness.

Maintain organized records, logs, and quality documentation per company and regulatory requirements.

Provide exceptional customer service , creating a welcoming and professional environment.

Maintain a safe and clean workspace in compliance with health and safety protocols.

Follow established company policies, confidentiality requirements, and quality standards.

Support additional patient service centers or collection sites when needed.

Required Experience :

Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred .

Prior experience in customer service or healthcare preferred.

Strong proficiency in keyboard / data entry systems.

Experience collecting specimens from pediatric and geriatric patients.

Required Education :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification required in Washington.

Required Skills :

Strong phlebotomy skills and clinical accuracy.

Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.

Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills :

Familiarity with laboratory data systems and patient scheduling tools.

Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.

Commitment to safety, compliance, and patient-centered care.
