A temporary Vascular Surgeon is needed to provide coverage in a hospital setting, including both office and surgical environments. The role involves performing vascular surgery with an average of three cases per day, requiring call responsibilities on nights and possible weekends. The surgeon will work with a team of ancillary staff and use the Epic documentation system to manage patient records effectively.

Hospital is looking for a Temporary Vascular Surgeon for coverage to fill gaps in the schedule!

Open dates :

  • As soon as credentialed - ongoing 2025

Job Details :

  • Practice Setting : Office with clinic 2 days per week, covering the hospital the rest of the time , possible weekend coverage needed.
  • Call Ratio : 2-4 call nights per week, can vary.
  • Average Number of Cases Per Day : 3
  • Documentation System / EMR : Epic
  • Annual ER Volume : unknown
  • Number of Operating Rooms : 6 main OR,2 CVT OR, Hybrid room with 2 cath lab.
  • Description of Ancillary Staff : office staff / 3 PSR, 1 surgery scheduler , 2 CMA, 1 LPN , 1 vascular techs , 2 part time MD's , RN / practice manager
  • With Hemodialysis Access.
