HR Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the first line of support on all HR transactional and administrative issues, providing timely resolution and excellent customer service
- Support HR initiatives including open enrollment, performance evaluations, compliance training, anniversary tracking, PTO management, merit reviews, communication wall updates, handbook reviews, and benefits inquiries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers to foster trust and effective communication
- Accurately administer key HR processes, including onboarding, probation reviews, contract changes, family / special leave, flexible work arrangements, and offboarding
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientations and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Maintain data integrity and timely updates across HR systems covering Core HR, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Recruiting, Reporting, and Absence
- Prepare and maintain HR metrics and reports, including headcount, turnover, and compliance audits
- Support HR policy communication, employee relations activities, and investigations in collaboration with HR leadership
- Generate employment letters, verification documents, and official correspondence as required
- Assist employees and line managers with accurate interpretation and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Ensure employee files and electronic records meet company, legal, and regulatory standards for data protection and audit readiness
Required Skills :
2+ years' experience in an HR support capacityStrong understanding of HR administrative processes, employee lifecycle management, and compliance standardsProficiency in HRIS systemsExcellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication abilities-verbal and writtenDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, manufacturing or defense contracting environmentDesired Skills :
Bilingual or multilingual communication skillsKnowledge of HR compliance at multi-state levelsUnderstanding of payroll processes or benefits administration supportPhysical Requirements :

Base Salary Range : $55,000 - $65,000.00 USD (Annually)
Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as : responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
Minimum Salary : 55000.00 Maximum Salary : 65000.00 Salary Unit : Yearly
