Responsibilities Work in Interventional Radiology across both the main hospital campus and a dedicated cancer center, connected by a pedestrian bridge Patient population includes oncology cases and stroke patients, with some conscious sedation recovery Day shifts, 4x10 hours (8 : 00 am – 6 : 30 pm), with required on-call 1-2 times per week (4-6 times per month) Clinicians float within skillset between units based on staffing needs Epic EMR is used for documentation and charting Specialized procedures include assisting with PICC line procedures, A-line, and procedural wedge pressures; experience with EKOS or similar devices highly preferred Primary responsibilities include assisting with interventional radiology procedures and providing recovery care to post-procedure patients Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays as assigned First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted at the same rate No block scheduling available and schedule change requests must be approved in advance Must complete pre-assignment modules, including Epic training and up to 18 hours of additional non-billable education All RNs are required to float based on patient acuity and census Professional attire or scrubs required per department standards Requirements Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1.5 years Level I trauma experience or 2 years Level II trauma experience required Experience in a stroke center environment required A-line and procedural wedge pressures competence required Scrub experience preferred but not required Epic EMR experience preferred References required for consideration Former RWJBH staff must be separated for at least 1 year before eligibility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627817.
