About the Job:

Reporting to the Directors of Elliot Medical Group Finance, is responsible for the Physician Group's Financial Reporting, Budget Planning and Financial Analysis. Works collaboratively with Business Leaders to develop, implement and monitor short- and long-term financial strategies to further the Physician groups' objectives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide support to leadership for financial planning, budgeting, and revenue analysis
• Contribute financial expertise by researching, preparing, analyzing and monitoring key financial information including but not limited to physician practice financial reports, strategic plans, trend analyses and proformas
• Utilize various software and database applications to produce meaningful interpretations of relevant benchmarking data and statistics, sourcing up-to-date comprehensive information regarding medical practice management
• Interact with all stakeholders to help assess their data needs and deliver solutions
• Compile various information from the EPIC Billing System for preparation of statistical patient revenue and volume related to MGMA standards and gather data in preparation of monthly revenue entries and subsequent accrual entries for upload into the Lawson Financial System
• Oversee Revenue Cycle performance and review financial and workflow issues as it relates to Physician Practices

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance, Required
• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare management or finance experience, Required
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access and budgeting software, Required
• Knowledge of automated general ledger and payroll systems, Required
• Excellent communication skills, Required
