What Is The Role
We're hiring a standout Senior Director of Marketing Insights & Analytics! You will have a passion for turning data into a competitive advantage across Elastic's global marketing efforts. Drive smarter planning, execution, and measurement to improve investments and fuel engagement, growth, and value.
This role will connect insight to action, working across marketing, sales, and PMM to guide smarter investments, optimize attribution, and harness AI to accelerate decision-making and execution!
What You Will Be Doing
- Apply sophisticated analytics to surface actionable insights that improve marketing investments, optimize performance, and drive growth and return on investment
- Evolve attribution models to be more intuitive and explainable, increasing trust in how marketing impact is measured and guiding smarter budget allocation
- Develop and operationalize a customer journey framework, modeling the moments that matter and the key activities that propel individuals and accounts through each stage; partner with Marketing Ops and functional teams to tag, track, and enable measurement at every step
- Transform how marketers interact with data by defining requirements for an AI interface that enables exploration, actionable insights, and accelerated decision-making
- Extend discoverability metrics beyond our site to where our audiences actively engage, including LLM citations and results
- Partner with marketing leadership and RevOps to set annual and cascading targets across the funnel, ensuring alignment to growth objectives and consistent measurement with a proactive process for correcting course when needed
- Deliver clear, data-backed insights on content effectiveness, campaign return on investment, and funnel performance to inform marketing, regional, and event investment decisions
- Build clear, accessible visualizations that make sophisticated data easy to apply from planning through execution, accelerating a data-driven culture across marketing
- Enable personalization at scale by surfacing insights that guide targeting, content, and engagement strategies
What You Bring
15+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or related fields within high-growth B2B environmentsProven success orchestrating data engineering, visualization, and data science functions, so they work in concert to transform complex data into actionable insightsExpertise in building and evolving attribution models that are open, explainable, and trusted by collaboratorsStrong background in applying AI / ML to marketing analytics to accelerate insight generation, improve efficiency, and enable personalization at scaleProven track record to measure and improve discoverability beyond owned channels, including emerging AI-driven environmentsExceptional communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior executives and cross-functional teams through clear, data-driven storytellingSophisticated data visualization skills and proficiency with modern BI and analytics toolsDo you have the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?The typical starting salary range for this role is :
$200,400 - $316,900 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is :
$240,300 - $380,200 USD
