Coordinate program advisory committees and assure broad-based membership and participatory agendas.
If applicable, oversee equipment purchases and maintenance and supplies for instructional laboratories.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Coordinate recruitment, evaluation, and development of full-time and adjunct faculty with Human Resources and the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs (or designee).
Review and respond to faculty, staff and student issues.

PAY RANGE
9-month faculty contract : $35,000 - $45,000 based on education and relative years of experience
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. Specific hours will depend on classes assigned but may include evenings.
This position is expected to start in August 2024.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction, faculty credentials per for a discipline assigned, academic leadership and management skills.
A qualified faculty member in early childhood education meets the program standard through :
Possesses an earned master’s or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in early childhood education, child development; or
Possesses an earned master’s or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate credit hours in courses closely related to early childhood education and development, with academic preparation appropriate to the course and / or specialty being taught; and
Possesses one of the following :
Professional certification in the field; or
Two years of directly related work experience in the field of early childhood - birth through age 8.
