Community Liaison
The Community Liaison is responsible for developing and executing strategies for caregiver recruitment and new business development in order to meet revenue goals.
The Community Liaison will be responsible for brand building and relationship development within the community and surrounding areas which achieves business development goals.
The Community Liaison will focus on establishing and developing Comfort Keepers reputation within the workforce and the local community.
Essential Functions :
- Identify and source potential candidates through direct cold calls, networking, referral, job fairs, publications, professional associations, internet, etc.
- Maintain an understanding and knowledge of staffing, recruitment and retention initiatives for the office / region and proactively seek and implement new, creative recruitment tactics to attract qualified candidates.
- Partner with management to plan and anticipate workforce planning needs based on business development strategies.
- Achieve new revenue objectives for assigned territory with the goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share.
Target accounts include, but are not limited to : hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, banks, funeral homes, etc.
- Performs all phases of sales activities for assigned territory, including cold calls, follow up calls, analysis of client needs, presentations of services, service existing customer accounts and follow-up as necessary.
- Takes accurate referral / service request information by phone.
Determines type and duration of services necessary to meet client needs.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two years or more recruitment or sales experience preferred
- Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to speak clearly and present well in a group
- Positive, professional, business image and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Required to actively listen, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships.
- Willing to set and achieve challenging sales goals and successfully manage accounts within a designated area.
- Strategic planning ability to anticipate changing business conditions and take appropriate action.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and Pinterest.
Working Environment : Primarily field environment.
Position Physical Demands : Walking, sitting, and standing with lifting for health / career fair setup.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
