Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to join our Process Engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and quality assurance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist process engineers in evaluating and improving manufacturing workflows and production efficiency.
- Support data collection and analysis for time studies, process mapping, and root cause investigations.
- Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of fixtures, tools, and workstation layouts.
- Help monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and quality.
- Support onboarding and training documentation for new equipment or processes.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (junior or senior standing preferred).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or quality systems is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CAD or process simulation tools is a bonus.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?
