LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist job for the corporate office located in Hayward, California.
This position is 100 percent in-office! The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections experience.
The role will be responsible for ensuring on-time payments by customers, maintain an aging of customer accounts, follow-up on past due invoices, oversee accounts and minimize credit risk, investigate and resolve chargebacks, work with the sales team to research and resolve accounts issues, customer service support, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications for the job include :
- Strong Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections experience
- Deduction experience would be preferred
- Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credit and general accounting
- Software experience with a large ERP system would be preferred
- Industry experience in CPG or Retail would be preferred
- Team player, able to work independently, patient, and enthusiastic
- Reliable, a can-do positive attitude, and gets the job done
- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
- Strong customer service and communications both written and verbal
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Solid Data Entry and Typing abilities
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree would be a preferred
Experience : 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience (AR Specialist, Credit & Collections, Credit Analyst, Deductions Analyst)
