Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician

Certifications : BLS (AHA), CBSPD, Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)

• 2 years of experience in sterile processing
• Proficient in decontamination, sterilization, and assembly
• Knowledge of high-level disinfection processes
• Familiarity with common sterilization equipment and supplies

Description :

We are looking for a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.

The position consists of 12-hour night shifts from Friday to Sunday.

Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week.

Candidates must possess a valid license and relevant certifications.

Duties include decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments.

You will also be responsible for assembling sterile trays for surgical procedures.

Experience with common sterilization equipment is essential.

No weekend or holiday call requirements are associated with this position.

Shifts will involve working from 6 PM to 6 : 30 AM.

The successful candidate will undergo unit-specific orientation with preceptor shifts.

The facility allows for a limited number of cancellations during the assignment period.

A background in a trauma department is preferred but not mandatory.

Candidates will be assessed for fit and then submitted for an interview.
