Responsibilities Position is in the Cardiac Catheterization and Special Procedures Lab Patient population includes adults requiring cardiac and interventional radiology procedures Duties include operating imaging and physiological monitoring equipment, assisting physicians with interventional procedures, and functioning as a scrub and monitor tech Work schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (7 : 30AM–6 : 00PM), with on-call every third weekend and two weekdays per week Float required to all procedural areas as needed Epic EMR experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Responsibilities include administering contrast materials, medication administration within scope, patient assessment for allergies, maintaining sterile field, and basic equipment troubleshooting Must maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with inventory and supplies Expectation to explain procedures and provide patient care, ensuring comfort, support, and confidentiality Must be able to take call after six months of orientation No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility Returned travelers may not continuously work more than one year and must take a six-month break before returning Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract Compliance documents must be completed prior to start; allow at least two weeks for background checks and drug screen No travel partner arrangements accepted Requirements Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in radiologic technology required Must hold active BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) IEMA Radiography License (Illinois) and ARRT (R) certification required Cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology experience required Minimum of one year of relevant experience Epic EMR and Level 1 Trauma experience required Neuro interventional and EP experience preferred License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628244.
