Picture Archiving And Communication System Administrator

South Florida's leading health system is seeking a highly experienced professional with deep expertise in the PACS / Imaging space and Neuroscience solutions to lead digital transformation initiatives across the enterprise.

Overview

This role focuses on condensing and replacing PACS / RIS platforms, delivering system upgrades, maintaining technology currency, and addressing technical debt within a complex healthcare environment. The position is remote, with preference for candidates located in the South Florida area or able to travel to Miami as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital transformation initiatives for the hospital by consolidating and streamlining PACS / RIS platforms across the enterprise.
• Manage upgrades and migrations, ensuring clinical and technical requirements are met with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to maintain system currency and reduce technical debt.
• Apply deep technical and clinical expertise in PACS / Imaging and Neuroscience spaces to support demanding healthcare workflows.
• Work with identified technologies and tools related to core PACS & RIS systems, advanced visualization, AI, workflow solutions, and image distribution platforms as part of the role.

Location and Travel
