Interim Contracts Counsel

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group is seeking a self-driven temporary Interim Contracts Counsel for a healthcare-focused client’s legal department.

Overview : A leading health and wellness company is seeking an Interim Contracts Counsel to support its legal team. The role is designed for immediate assistance and is expected to last a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent for the right candidate. The organization is recognized for its mission-driven culture and innovative approach to health transformation.

Company : Health & Wellness Industry

Experience : Minimum 4+ years of experience

Location : Hybrid (4 days in-office at a downtown location in a major U.S. city; location may change within the metro area)

Responsibilities Include :

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contract terms with business objectives
• Assist with contract lifecycle management
• Provide guidance on risk mitigation and contractual obligations
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal oversight
• Support a lean legal department and be willing to take on varied tasks
• Experience with HR, Labor & Employment, Tech and / or Manufacturing environments preferred, but not required

Qualifications Include :

Pay Rate : $80
