Client Implementation Specialist

Summary :

The Client Implementation Specialist is responsible for setting clients up onto our benefit platform. . This includes new sales, renewal changes, cancellations and maintenance of the client's account setup. The Client Implementation Specialist assists the Analyst in reviewing and resolving client setup issues, including onboarding new client

Responsibilities :

• Assist with the installation of a new client onto our benefit platform, including customer requirements.
• Document issues or tasks and work closely with the Client Implementation Analyst and Sales to meet customer expectations.
• Setup groups in the group and benefits administration systems, including medical, pharmacy, dental and vision benefits.
• Communicate with Sales or Brokers to understand the client's benefits purchase and execute the setup. Develop and maintain a strong business relationship with the internal customers of the IBC Family of Companies, including but not limited to, Underwriting, Sales, Marketing, Enrollment, Customer Service, and any other areas involved in the process.
• May participate in on-site visits to new employer groups and administrators to assist the Analyst in explaining the set-up process,
• Responsible for implementation of new groups, benefit changes and cancellations.
• Research and troubleshoot benefits and any other issues related to group set-up.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• This position spends about 50% of their time handling renewal tasks and the remaining 50% assisting with New Client Installations.

Hybrid :

Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
