Account Manager

As the global market leader in our low-voltage / telecommunications infrastructure space, CommScope is seeking an upbeat Account Manager to join a highly successful, results-oriented team.

This role is predominantly customer-facing and is responsible for positioning and selling a portfolio of premium low-voltage copper / fiber infrastructure solutions, as well as In-Building Wireless and Distributed Antenna Systems, at the end-user decision-maker level.

Here, you will provide outstanding customer service by understanding customers and specific business units, and by delivering products, services, and solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Required Qualifications for Consideration :

  • Five or more years of account management sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Ability to strategically run large enterprise accounts and grow the territory.
  • Experience in the telecom industry and in the data center industry
  • Expert ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with existing customers and grow existing revenue streams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, willing to act with professional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the Houston market for tradeshows, customer meetings, industry events, etc.

  • The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
