Dental Patient Care Coordinator / Front Office Assistant

Location : Ventura, CA

Pay : $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Our established, state-of-the-art dental office in Ventura is looking for a Dental Patient Care Coordinator / Front Office Assistant to join our caring and team-oriented practice. If you’re experienced in dental administration, love helping patients, and enjoy working in a positive, professional environment, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule :

Full-time, Monday–Thursday 8 : 15 AM–5 : 15 PM, plus 2–3 Fridays per month.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay : $25–$30 / hr (based on experience)
After 90 days : Medical and vision insurance, sick leave, in-house dental benefits for employee, spouse, and dependents under 26, continuing education opportunities, CPR certification
After 1 year : Additional paid time off, eligibility for annual raises and bonuses, 401(k) with company match (after 1,000 hours worked)

What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of experience in a dental front office or patient care coordinator role

Strong knowledge of Dentrix (or similar dental software)

Skilled in scheduling, insurance, billing, and patient communication

Comfortable discussing financial arrangements and collecting payments

A team player who is professional, reliable, and enjoys helping patients feel at ease

Bonus Skills

Experience with Yapi, Weave, or NexHealth

Familiarity with managing online reviews (Google, Yelp, Facebook)

Excellent verbal, written, and email communication skills

Experience supporting website or patient portal interactions
