Responsibilities
- Lead on-site operations for a luxury or conventional multifamily community
- Drive resident retention and satisfaction, ensuring high occupancy and lease renewals
- Oversee financial performance, budgets, NOI, and occupancy goals
- Manage vendor relationships and maintenance operations, including unit turns and renovations
- Direct on-site teams, providing leadership, coaching, and accountability
- Coordinate capital projects and curb appeal standards
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, local code requirements, and standard lease administration
- Utilize property management platforms (e.g., Yardi) for operations and reporting
- Monitor capital improvements and lease-up initiatives as applicable
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Property Manager in the apartment industry, managing 150+ units strongly preferredExperience leading on-site teams, managing capital projects, and maintaining high resident satisfactionDeep understanding of Fair Housing regulations, local code compliance, and standard lease administrationProficient in Yardi or other leading property management platformsAbility to manage and monitor property budgets, NOI, and occupancy goalsStrong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skillsExperience managing luxury, lease-up, or Class A or Class B+ multifamily propertiesCAM, CAPS, or CPM designation (active or in progress) is a strong advantage but not requiredKnowledge of maintenance operations, unit turn management, and vendor negotiationExperience handling capital improvements, curb appeal standards, and unit turn and renovation oversightBenefits
