Responsibilities include providing advanced product knowledge, educated recommendations, and Dress Blue Experience to all customers throughout their Marine Corps Exchange shopping experience. You will be responsible for meeting personal and department sales goals, coaching Sales Associates on product knowledge areas related to particular categories, and remaining committed to learning about the brands and products sold within the store. You will also educate customers on product questions and provide suggestions when needed, relay customer comments and concerns to the Sales Manager, and identify opportunities to produce add-on sales through suggestive and consultative selling.

You will work with the Sales Manager to achieve daily and weekly sales goals, assist in the planning and execution of all corporate sales programs, promotions, and other events where merchandise is involved, and build and nurture loyal MCX customers. You will also actively engage in organizational training opportunities that develop personal and professional skills related to time management, emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, career planning, public speaking, and small group leadership.

Qualifications include at least one year of experience working in customer sales and demonstrated knowledge of selling techniques. You must be able to work in a high-performance atmosphere with commitment to service and sales goals, and attention to detail is required.
