Distribution Construction Manager

We are seeking seven (7) Construction Managers to oversee a Resiliency Program in the Greater New Orleans area. This is part of a long-term initiative, focused on building robust distribution systems throughout New Orleans and Jefferson Parish. Successful candidates will lead both subcontractor and crew teams, ensuring high standards of production and quality.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance of subcontractors and crews in building distribution systems.
• Manage the overall production and quality of construction projects.
• Lead teams of up to 25 people.
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with safety, quality, reporting, contract, standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct standardized reporting and appropriate construction meetings.

Work Environment

This role involves fieldwork overseeing subcontractor crews for a project spanning a year. Expect to work over 50 hours per week, typically 10-hour days for 5 days a week. The position offers a standard per diem based on the area, with time and a half for overtime. Benefits include holidays and PTO, and there is potential for future projects with a growing footprint in various locations. The role requires adherence to the Field Resource Expense Guideline.

This is a Contract position based out of Covington, Louisiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
