Travel CVICU RN Johnson City, NY

Location : Johnson City, NY

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights, 3x12s per week (36 hours), every 3rd weekend

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel CVICU RN for a 13-week contract in Johnson City, NY. The ideal nurse will have strong experience caring for intensive cardiac patients in a critical care setting, with the ability to manage complex conditions and work effectively in a fast-paced CVICU environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to critically ill cardiac patients, including pre- and post-operative care

Manage vasoactive drips, invasive lines, and advanced monitoring equipment

Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

Accurately document patient status and interventions in the EMR

Support patients and families through complex cardiac procedures and recovery

Requirements

Active RN license in New York

BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications

Minimum of 2 years of recent CVICU or ICU experience with intensive cardiac patients
