Position Details :

Patient Population : General Cardiology Patients

Setting : Inpatient & Outpatient (Hospital & Clinics)

Responsibilities :

Provide non-invasive cardiology care across two hospitals (St. Peter's Hospital & Samaritan Hospital)

Perform procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Participate in call coverage (1 weeknight per week, 1 : 5 weekend rotation with APP support)

Required Procedures :

Echocardiography

Nuclear Cardiology

Vascular Ultrasound

General Cardiology evaluations

EMR System : TBD

Support Staff : Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available for weekend rounding and night coverage

Days Per Month : TBD

On-Call / Weekends :

1 weeknight per week (telephone call, rarely required to come in)

1 : 5 weekend rotation (APP support for rounding and call coverage)

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified in Internal Medicine

REQUIRED

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Cardiology

REQUIRED

NY Medical License (or willing to obtain)

REQUIRED

Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (completed prior to start)
