Overview :

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Purchasing to support the daily execution of supply chain management functions. This role works closely with a Supply Chain Partner to deliver on cost, capacity, and trade competency objectives while ensuring cultural alignment across assigned operating divisions. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong ability to execute, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable value through operational excellence and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Partner to manage daily operations and drive performance.
• Develop and mature supply chain processes aligned with organizational leadership principles.
• Build and sustain positive, productive trade relationships.
• Ensure trade partner capacity supports production needs and performance expectations.
• Enforce contract compliance, including pricing addendums and quality standards.
• Apply mutual gain negotiation strategies to secure durable agreements.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or client value.
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve systemic issues.
• Continuously improve supply chain disciplines and trade partner performance.
• Identify and introduce new methods and materials that enhance value.
• Maintain documentation for trade expectations and agreements.
