The Opportunity :

You will be responsible for proactively supporting our customers for a wide range of scenarios, including the design and implementation of interfaces between Flextrack’s VMS and external client systems, with a specific focus on Salesforce to Workday integrations.

This role involves performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities to and from Flextrack’s VMS, as well as building solutions within the Salesforce platform.

Day to day you will :

  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content and perform complex data analysis.
  • Work directly with team members and business to understand corporate vision and requirements and translate them into appropriate technical specifications.
  • Participate in business solution design sessions with key stakeholders to understand current business processes and identify business pain points and objectives.
  • Manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets relating to the client's business needs.
  • Develop optimized queries for integration with other applications / systems / databases, specifically focusing on Salesforce to Workday integrations.
  • Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs, translate technical requirements, and develop integration solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for clients during the integration process, ensuring clear communication and a deep understanding of their systems and requirements.
  • Design and implement integration solutions tailored to client specifications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Assist sales teams in preparing and delivering technical demonstrations of integration capabilities to prospective clients, showcasing the value and functionality of proposed solutions.
  • Work with clients to develop custom integration solutions, leveraging your technical expertise to meet unique client needs and enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Develop processes and / or reports / logs including ETL exception handling and automatic email notifications for ETL status to ensure data quality and solution integrity.
  • Work closely with the project team (e.g., business analysts, tech lead, QA) during the development lifecycle to verify and confirm requirements, data mapping, and solution design, defect analysis, and so on.
  • Develop and configure a multitenant, distributed application using Salesforce technology.
  • Provide information around best practices in the CRM, ERP, and business process space.
  • Support data migration activities, with a focus on integrating Salesforce with Workday.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, making recommendations relating to implementation and change management.

It would be amazing if you have :

  • 4+ years of experience building on the Salesforce.com platform.
  • 4+ years of development experience using middleware platforms that integrate with Salesforce.com (such as Informatica, Talend, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, Tibco Scribe, Mulesoft).
  • Experience with various integration endpoints (CRM, RDBMS endpoints, ERP), particularly Workday.
  • Knowledge and experience in gathering requirements and business process knowledge to transform data to meet business specifications and requirements.
  • Experience investigating data to identify potential issues within ETL data flows, notifying end-users, and proposing adequate solutions.
  • Advanced skills and hands-on experience performing data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL / scripts and database utilities from external systems to Salesforce.com.
  • Experience troubleshooting and investigating production issues, making recommendations towards resolution.
  • Experience with ETL performance monitoring, performance tuning, and ETL testing using SQL.
  • Ability to recommend scaling solutions using ETL tools.
  • Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
  • Experience with SQL and Salesforce SOQL queries and technologies.
  • Ability to listen to business requirements and pain points and document and prototype solutions.
  • Experience in structured and Agile methodologies for the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to meet tight deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues in non-technical terms to stakeholders.
  • Well-versed in Salesforce products and industry best practices related to design, development, testing, business processes, workflow, reporting, and sustainment of the system.
  • Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and / or Developer).
  • Understanding of XML, JSON, and enterprise application integration concepts.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent training / experience.
