Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Proven skills in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical cases

Ability to participate in cardiac call rotation (one weekend per month and once per week)

BLS certification (additional healthcare certifications may be required)

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room

Assist surgeons and surgical teams with complex cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures

Monitor patient status and respond to changes during surgical procedures

Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards

Participate in cardiac call rotation as required by hospital policy

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document all patient care activities
