Application Configuration and Support Specialist

The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking two experienced individuals for Application Configuration and Support in the Information Technology Services Section. The successful candidates will possess a considerable technical knowledge of program and application development, the ability to perform systems analysis, recommends application solutions and / or tests, corrects and implements application configuration changes, and creating and maintaining documentation. These positions will work a hybrid in-person / remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is 30 E. Broad St., Columbus.

The successful candidate will perform the following duties, which include but are not limited to :

Troubleshooting and Support :

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to application code and components, including bugs, performance problems, and integration issues.
• Data analysis including collecting, processing, and research of data discrepancies
• Provide support for end-users and internal teams by addressing and resolving application-related problems. Including collaboration with end-users when determining a solution.

Minimum Qualifications :

Core undergraduate program in computer science, information systems, mathematics, or related field or equivalent work experience, AND a minimum of four years combined work experience in any combination of the following : designing and performing systems analysis, developing and / or modifying programs for computer applications, performing testing, debugging, and code review, and assisting with analysis and design, including 2 years technology related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Titanium / Debt Manager application configuration

Kettle and ETL processing

SQL Query writing and Stored Procedure creation for MS SQL Server

SSRS development experience

Debt Collection experience

Change Management experience

Familiarity with Service Now, ALM Octane, and Sharepoint

Powershell
