Job Description
- Create and refine CMM inspection programs (using PCDIMS and MCOSMOS) for precision machined components
- Analyze engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to plan inspection approaches
- Select and set up appropriate fixturing, tooling, and configurations to enable consistent, accurate measurements
- Interpret engineering standards, drawings, and customer specifications to guide inspection requirements
- Oversee and validate inspections and tests to ensure product adherence to design and specification
- Conduct measurement system analysis (MSA) and gage R&R studies to verify measurement reliability
- Produce and maintain quality documentation such as control plans, inspection plans, FAIs, and PPAPs to satisfy customer demands
- Confirm that process control documents and project deliverables meet contractual and quality obligations
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to integrate inspection processes
- Uphold a clean, structured, and safetycompliant work environment in line with company guidelines

The Successful Applicant
- Prior experience as a Quality Engineer or in a comparable role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience programming CMMs
- Indepth knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and inspection techniques
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
- Demonstrated track record in quality inspection and assurance within manufacturing
- Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, SPC) for interpreting measurement data
- Comfortable working effectively in a highpressure, fastpaced environment
- Collaborative team player with a constructive mindset and commitment to excellence
- Self-motivated, able to initiate and drive projects independently
- Must be a U.S. citizen
