Under the direction of the classroom lead teacher and assistant director, the associate teacher assists with and oversees the daily operations and teaches an assigned group of children using developmentally appropriate practices in the preschool or infant / toddler program that includes an environment that fosters active exploration; encourages independent choices and active problem solving along with sharing experiences with others; successfully integrates and individualizes care and curriculum for all children regardless of abilities; and maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
