Sr. Project Manager

Flawless Steel Welding is a certified AISC Fabricator and Erector. We are looking for a Sr. Project Manager/point person in charge of a specific project or project within an organization. The project manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control, and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the organization's strategy, commitments, and goals.

General responsibilities include verifying contract scopes, drawings, specs, and addendums for accuracy, working closely with general contractors on moving the project forward in the steel fabrication at the shop, and coordinating the on-field erection of the steel, and ensuring that projects are completed on time.

Specific duties include coordinating with the detailing team to monitor the progress of drawings, managing projects from the award through detailing, fabrication, and erection, identifying, requesting, and following up on required information from architects and engineers, coordinating with other trades, suppliers, and sub-contractors, scheduling production delivery of materials and overseeing erection, leading meetings and setting expectations for the project team, resolving jobsite problems, pricing and issuing change order requests and negotiating change orders with general contractors, construction managers, or owners, working with accounting on job cost estimates and other financial matters, issuing closeout documents, developing and maintaining client relationships, submitting and following up on transmittals, reporting on project progress, offering viable solutions and opportunities as they arise, and knowledge of TeklaPowerFab Bluebeam Software is a must.

The project manager has the authority to write down change orders and submit them, start and stop production and field processes as needed to meet deadlines.

Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, high competency level in Microsoft Office applications, communication skills, negotiating skills, networking skills, planning and organizational skills, analytical skills, problem-solving, results-oriented, judgment, teamwork, attention to detail, and TeklaPowerFab.

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year.
