Position Overview :
As the first point of contact for clients, the Veterinary Receptionist plays a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth front desk operations.

Responsibilities :
- Warmly greet clients and visitors upon arrival, providing a welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment book efficiently, coordinating with veterinary staff
- Answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner, addressing client inquiries and scheduling requests
- Check-in and check-out clients and their pets, accurately recording patient information and updating files as needed
- Process payments and maintain financial records with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting environment
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff to facilitate seamless patient care and client communication
- Handle client concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using Veterinary computer software
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with veterinary receptionist or veterinary office procedures is an asset
