Job Summary

The role of the AI Senior Solutions Specialist is designed to lead the sales and advocacy efforts for cutting-edge AI PC technologies within CNXN. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert, driving strategic sales and business development, while also championing AI PC technologies in various sectors. This position combines the technical depth of AI with the strategic acumen needed to engage with customers, foster partnerships, and accelerate the adoption of AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Business Development
• Lead AI-focused sales efforts, targeting both new and existing customers across various industries.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to promote partner AI PC capabilities.
• Create customized sales presentations, proposals, and demos that highlight the advantages of partner AI-powered hardware, software, and solutions.
• Engage with internal sales teams to ensure alignment of AI offerings with customer needs.
• AI Advocacy and Thought Leadership
• Serve as a primary spokesperson for Partner in the industry, representing the brands at key industry events, conferences, and webinars.
• Create and share thought leadership content, such as blogs, whitepapers, and case studies, that highlight the power of partner AI-powered hardware, software, and solutions.
• Keep up to date with emerging AI trends and ensure Partner's products remain competitive in this rapidly evolving space.
• Customer Engagement and Education
• Develop and deliver AI-focused workshops, webinars, and training sessions for customers and partners.
• Conduct technical deep-dives and proof-of-concept demonstrations to help clients understand how Partner's technologies can solve their specific AI challenges.
• Support the sales cycle by addressing technical inquiries and concerns related to AI workloads.
• Ecosystem Relationships
• Cultivate relationships with AI software vendors, universities, and research institutions to drive co-innovation.
• Work closely with Partner engineering teams to communicate market feedback, ensuring product features are aligned with AI customer needs.
• Identify and pursue joint sales and marketing opportunities with external AI-focused companies and research organizations.
• Reporting and Analytics
• Track sales performance, customer feedback, and industry trends to provide regular updates to senior management.
• Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and maximize the impact of advocacy efforts.

For the partner funded position, there is an opportunity to earn additional compensation, above the salary range listed, based on performance in the role by the individual and team. Part of the total compensation includes a variable bonus opportunity with incentive goals that is paid on a quarterly basis. You will learn more about the details of the total compensation for this role during the interview process.

Qualifications

Required Competentcies

Deept understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and AI hardware acceleration.

Proven track record in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably in the AI or technology sectors.

Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, capable of communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nurture strategic partnerships with key players in the AI industry, such as AI software providers, data scientists, and research institutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications in AI is a plus).
