• Level III NICU rapid response position with must be cleared to start 10-28
• 2 years Level III or higher NICU experience preferred
• Patient ratios range from 1 : 1 to 1 : 4 depending on acuity
• 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU unit
• Work with high-tech NICU equipment and utilize Cerner EMR system
• Required certification : NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Preferred certifications : Stable and NIC-RNC
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Every other weekend schedule requirement
• Floating responsibilities to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby units (babies only)
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Day shift staffing includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 respiratory therapists, and tech support
• Night shift staffing includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, and 2 respiratory therapists Facility : This 815-bed acute care facility serves as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care in western North Carolina.
