We are growing the product design team and seeking a designer who is curious about users and capable of crafting world-class, understandable experiences. You will join a talented team of designers on a shared mission to make data analytics highly usable and accessible to non-technical users.
What You Will Be Doing
- You’ll own and shape the user-facing language and content strategy for key areas of our product, helping to define the future of our product.
- You’ll work with a down-to-earth, data-obsessed team that iterates, learns, grows, and ships value to customers together.
- You’ll translate complex data concepts and analytical actions into clear, intuitive language, enabling users to confidently build analyses and find insights even if they are not highly technical.
- You’ll own the end-to-end content design process for major product areas, from strategy and research to final copy and implementation.
- You will collaborate with PMs, researchers, design, marketing, and engineers, seek user feedback, and advance content solutions that improve adoption, comprehension, and usability.
- You will champion content accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring in-product language and information architecture are understandable by users of all backgrounds and abilities.
- You will develop scalable content frameworks, design system practices, define terminology, and build glossaries to ensure a cohesive voice across the product.
Qualifications We Need
5+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, copywriting, or related fields for complex digital products.A strong portfolio showing process for creating and implementing effective content, from UI microcopy to information architecture.Proven track record of designing content for commercially successful, world-class software.Ability to work autonomously, lead complex projects, and deliver high-quality content solutions in a fast-paced environment.Rapid iteration, feedback cycles, and experimentation; a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to incorporate feedback into content solutions.Ability to think about entire content systems, with the vision to design the big picture and the tactical ability to break it down for incremental engineering delivery.Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills; ability to explain content decisions clearly and advocate for users.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, English, Communications, or Journalism.Expertise in Figma and experience collaborating directly within design files.Experience with data analytics, business intelligence, or other complex technical domains is a plus.Startup experience is a plus.Portfolio should demonstrate work released and skills in content strategy, information architecture, and UX writing.Demonstrated process and evolution of work, including business problems, constraints, iterations, and outcomes.Understanding how content solutions supported company objectives while meeting user needs; examples such as style guides, glossaries, and naming exercises are encouraged.Portfolios that showcase work on complex, data-heavy products are a plus.Compensation for this role will be around 180-210K, depending on qualifications and experience. Base pay is part of a Total Package that may include stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.
