We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Risk Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL , data mapping , Data modeling and data profiling , with a deep understanding of credit risk processes . This role involves working closely with stakeholders across Risk, Data, and Technology teams to ensure data integrity, support risk initiatives, and drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to credit risk data and analytics.
- Perform data mapping between source systems and target models, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct data profiling to assess data quality, identify anomalies, and support remediation efforts.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data from various databases.
- Work with IT and data engineering teams to define data transformation rules and ensure proper implementation.
- Create and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, process flows, and business rules.
- Lead or support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for data-related projects.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve credit risk strategies.
- Support the development and enhancement of credit risk models by providing high-quality data inputs.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably in credit risk .Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.Hands-on experience with data mapping , data profiling , and data quality tools.Solid understanding of credit risk concepts, including exposure, PD, LGD, EAD, and risk-weighted assets.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, IFRS 9, or CCAR.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills :
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Knowledge of data governance and metadata management.Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies.Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
