Responsibilities
The Field Service Manager with a DOT Background is responsible for managing the overall service activities within the organization. This role involves leading a team of service professionals, developing and implementing service procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Service Operations Supervisor conducts regular audits, reviews service data, and collaborates with other departments to address service issues and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing service documentation, providing training and development opportunities for staff, and reporting on service performance to senior management.

Qualifications
Background with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
Department of Transportation (DOT) background
Preferred - bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
Experience with developing and implementing inventory management policies and procedures.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 plus an annual bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
