LHH is currently partnering with a long-standing client in Portland to help them find a System Administrator. Were looking for a skilled professional to provide comprehensive support for our client's technology systems and business applications. This role focuses on maintaining, deploying, and troubleshooting IT services across the organization. This is a fully onsite role in downtown Portland, OR.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical assistance for enterprise systems and applications, ensuring smooth operations across the company.
- Apply established and adaptive troubleshooting methods for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Follow internal IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance and security standards.
- Manage service requests and incidents through an ITSM platform while contributing to team projects.
- Configure user access and security permissions.
- Perform hardware / software installations, updates, and issue resolution.
- Maintain documentation for support processes and operational workflows.
- Handle computer imaging and software deployment tasks.
- Execute project-based initiatives to enhance systems and processes.
- Provide in-person support during scheduled shifts; flexibility for occasional overtime may be required.
- Complete additional IT-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in IT support or related technical roles, or equivalent education and experience.At least 3 years troubleshooting enterprise-level hardware and software environments.Strong background in Windows laptop administration for mid-sized organizationsKnowledge of system hardening and network security practices.Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory and Entra.Experience with identity management and single sign-on solutions.Familiarity with mobile device management platforms; Intune experience preferred.Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ITIL frameworks.Benefits
