About Us

We are a fast-growing activewear company with deep expertise in design, production, and large-scale distribution across major retailers. We are expanding into licensed apparel and are building a dedicated design team to work directly with major global entertainment IP partners. This role is the foundation of that team.

The Role

We are looking for a Creative Director with direct experience in licensed apparel , ideally with a major global scale entertainment IP or similarly structured licensors. This leader will guide all creative direction for our licensed activewear collections, shape the design vision, and manage the development process from concept through approval and into production.

You will partner closely with internal leadership, our production and sales teams, and the creative teams at our licensors. You will also play a key role in hiring and mentoring the senior designers, junior designers / graphic artists, and a licensing coordinator as we build out a dedicated licensed-design department.

This is a hands-on creative leadership role inside a company that moves fast, values strong taste, and produces at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative vision, direction, and aesthetic for all licensed activewear collections across multiple IP families.
• Interpret style guides, assets, and brand direction from licensors into fresh, high-quality activewear assortments using our existing silhouettes and fabrics.
• Oversee design development from concept to approval to final handoff.
• Collaborate directly with licensor design and sales teams during concepting and review rounds.
• Partner closely with internal sales and production teams to align creative direction with retailer needs, order timelines, and cost targets.
• Build and manage a new licensed design team (senior designers, junior designers / graphic artists, licensing coordinator).
• Provide clear creative feedback, ensure consistent quality, and maintain brand / IP integrity across all designs.
• Present concepts and assortments internally and to licensors as needed.
• Ensure all artwork, color, placement, and branding complies with licensor guidelines and approval processes.
• Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, activewear aesthetics, and category-specific design opportunities.
