Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients

Document account activities and maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with regulations

Assist with special projects and communicate findings effectively to management

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
