As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be part of a high-performing engineering team, working closely with their VP Recruitment Marketing and Lead Developer to evolve and support their Recruitment Marketing platform. This space is moving fast - and so will you. You'll have real influence over how the product takes shape, and you'll ship code to production daily, putting valuable features in the hands of their customers quickly.

Our client is an Australian-based company that develops a unified, SaaS-based talent management platform. They provide software solutions for recruitment, learning, performance, and succession planning, serving various sectors globally.

Due to the company's continued success, the organization is expanding its team in the Philippines and is seeking a passionate, highly skilled, self-motivated, and collaborative Senior Ruby on Rails Developer.

The successful candidate will contribute to the recruitment marketing platform, which enables customers to create outstanding, on-brand career sites that attract and engage top talent. With built-in marketing automation and personalized content, the platform nurtures candidates and helps businesses connect with the right people faster.

This new team will collaborate closely with colleagues in Ireland and will be part of a larger product team based in Manila.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deploy new features to production, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
• Participate in shaping the product roadmap and contribute ideas to improve user experience and platform functionality
• Write clean, well-tested code, aiming for high test coverage and adherence to best practices
• Maintain and enhance the platform's infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code to ensure reliability and resilience
• Work with a multi-region AWS cloud environment to support scalable and high-availability solutions.
• Leverage the Ruby on Rails framework and MySQL database to develop backend functionality and ensure smooth integration with front-end components
• Participate in continuous delivery processes to release updates rapidly and efficiently
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable features that meet customer needs
