Job description

Locum Critical Care Medicine Job in Pennsylvania Seeking Pulmonary-Critical Care physicians for long-term locum coverage near Indiana, PA. Job Details :

  • Coverage Date : Apr. 25, 2022 - May 2, 2022
  • EMR System : Epic
  • Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
  • Practice Setting : Inpatient
  • Other Details :

Will cover Medical Critical Care unit

  • Admit approx. 130 patients per month 10-20 patients per day (14-15 Summer 18-20 winter)
  • 24-hour resident coverage, residents take the first call
  • Make rounds on patients in AM with Residents then on-call for the remainder of the 24 hours
  • Admissions from Emergency Room 3-4 per day
  • High acuity patients, cardiac and sepsis
  • Placement of arterial lines
  • Sedation : Deep, Conscious
  • Cardio-version
  • Post OP cardiac surgical management
  • ACLS required
