Responsibilities:

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• PO 3-way matching
• Respond to all vendor inquiries
• Assist in month-end closing
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist with other projects as needed
• Gathers invoices and places them in correct processing order
• Process large volume transactions in a timely manner and maintains a clean A/P System
• Reads and understands the A/P aging reports and chart of accounts
• Prepare and process invoices into the Accounts Payable system
• Process and monitor payments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounts payable capacity
• SAP working experience preferred
• Processing at least 50 invoices daily
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• PLEASE NOTE THAT OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES MIGHT BE REQUIRED AS THIS ROLE DEVELOPS OVER TIME
• Experience with data entry
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools
• Has a “whatever it takes” attitude
• A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives
• Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets

Job Type: Full-time, overtime as needed.
