Payroll Processor
We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Processor to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will handle all aspects of payroll processing for a large, multi-state workforce while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll specialist to contribute to the success of a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the entire payroll cycle for over 2,000 employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Use ADP Workforce Now to process payroll, maintain employee records, and resolve system-related issues.
- Oversee tax filings, benefits deductions, garnishments, and other payroll-related adjustments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Partner with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll data, address discrepancies, and provide audit support.
- Monitor and implement updates to payroll laws and regulations, applying best practices to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll processes to identify and resolve errors proactively.
- Provide exceptional support to employees by addressing payroll-related inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in developing and refining payroll procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and tools to recommend and implement process improvements.
Requirements :
At least 5 years of payroll processing experience, including handling payroll for 2,000+ employees.Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.Strong understanding of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.Experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including tax filings, benefits deductions, and garnishments.Background in industries such as AI, technology, or SaaS is highly preferred.Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Finance.Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and current regulations.
