Associate Director, Digital Assets
Guidehouse is executing an ambitious growth strategy for its Digital Assets capability. We are seeking a dynamic leader with deep expertise in Financial and Risk Management across the digital asset ecosystem. As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling this domain, driving client impact through strategic advisory and technical enablement. The Digital Assets practice advises clients on secure and efficient adoption and integration of blockchain technologies, tokenization models, and digital currencies by ensuring regulatory, operational, and technical readiness. The ideal candidate will bring subject matter expertise in treasury and liquidity management, with direct experiences with stablecoins, crypto and digital asset products alongside a business-builder mindset and a robust professional network. Key responsibilities will include : overseeing delivery of client engagements and advise on building treasury functions; spearheading development and execution of strategic growth and new client acquisition by building and maintaining partner relationships with digital asset and traditional financial institutions; partnering with Guidehouse specialty and non-specialty practices to cross-sell relevant services and solutions; mentoring and developing team members, while recruiting new talent to support this strategic growth initiative; collaborating across practices to develop intellectual property and contribute to industry-leading insights; and managing senior-level relationships and align Digital Assets solutions to client needs, driving revenue and profitability.
What you will need includes a bachelors degree, 7+ years of experience in Treasury, Capital Markets, FinTech, or related financial roles, demonstrated experience in treasury and liquidity management within a stablecoin issuer, a crypto exchange, or broader digital asset company, including optimizing cash positions, liquidity planning, managing digital reserves, and leveraging blockchain-based tools for real-time settlements, cross-border transactions internal hedging, capital efficiency, strong knowledge of treasury management, operations, including rebalancing, reserve management, execution of high value payments, crypto / fiat transactions, etc., experience with management of reserve portfolios, and passion for cryptocurrency and financial innovation. Experience managing high performing teams in a fast-paced environment, strong project management, communication, and public speaking skills are also required.
What would be nice to have includes a bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics, a masters degree, strong negotiation and influencing skills with senior stakeholders, experience with crypto liquidity, fiat funding flows, and stablecoin mechanics, high business acumen and commercial awareness, and entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
The annual salary range for this position is $162,000.00-$270,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
