Automotive Painter

Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in holes, mixing paint colors, and painting vehicles.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with a production manager to collaborate on the most efficient list of paintable vehicles.

Ideally, you have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials and are comfortable using hand and power tools to get the job done.

Compensation : $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed
• Erect scaffolding when required
• Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
• Get surfaces ready to be painted by sanding away old paint and filling holes and cracks with putty

Qualifications :

• Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training
• Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
• Preference for candidates with 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship, but not required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity
