Overview
As the AEGIS IT Systems Technician working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will provide Fleet Technical Assistance by interpreting shipboard technical documents to assess, repair, and document equipment deficiencies. This is a contingent position based on award / funding from the customer.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for evaluating and correcting fleet system / equipment casualties, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic Combat Systems casualty repairs, in accordance with the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and fleet requirements.
- Assist with other system technical support and troubleshooting to restore equipment to operational condition.
- Perform system / equipment troubleshooting, including providing distance support, utilizing hardware / software expertise, and completing technical reports.
- Assess and maintain shipboard systems during various readiness assessments, inspections, and test programs, including data entry, discrepancy tracking, and technical analysis.
- Perform logistics and engineering tasks, including system configuration, support documentation, and technical change proposals.
- Contribute to ILS tasks such as configuration management, parts tracking, and documentation updates.
Qualifications
High School DiplomaMinimum of three years in a role involving Fleet Technical Assistance, assessment, and logistical support of U.S. Navy ships' AEGIS IT Systems.Secret level DoD clearance.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Knowledge of Maintenance and Material Management (3M).Ability to obtain a 10-hour OSHA Maritime Employment Course #7615 card within 60 days.Willingness to travel up to 25%.Physical ability to work aloft, in confined spaces, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.J-18808-Ljbffr
