Job Details
Supports the DRG C2 Contract Distance Learning Manager and Instructional Developer in the development and delivery of courseware.
Executes a deliberate and orderly, process for planning, developing, implementing, and managing instructional systems. Ensures skills, knowledge, and attitudes essential for successful job performance are developed.
Uses the ISD model defined in AFMAN 36-2234 and AFH 36-2235, Information for Designers of Instructional Systems, Volume 2, in the development of courseware and instructional materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Produces and submits courseware IAW the requisite Government Instructions and guides and IAW quality control processes.
- Develops Criterion Referenced Objective (CRO) and Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO).
- Prepare and delivers instructional media packages for each interactive courseware (ICW) lesson.
- Prepares syllabus lessons identified as having an instructional mode of lecture or seminar.
- Drafts and compiles monthly reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and / or Experience
Required qualifications and experience : Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited university in education discipline.
Must have completed, or shall complete within 18 months, these courses (3 semester hours per course) : test and measurement applications, psychology of learning, ISD applications, curriculum and instructional development, evaluation design application and theory, at no additional cost to the Government.
One-year hands-on experience in curriculum development and design and production of ISD materials.
Desired qualifications and experience : Area of educational emphasis in curriculum development or one-year experience in curriculum development and have three semester hours in computer-based instructional design applications.
Three years’ experience in training development. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in education related discipline.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
None.
Security Responsibilities
Compliance with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper classification and marking of all information and materials, in any form, produced by the incumbent.
Shall be assigned specific responsibility for Information Security by immediate supervisor or department management. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know.
Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. Incumbent shall execute company non-disclosure agreement prior to access to any controlled information.
