FLEX Security Officer

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. Our Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.

Securitas is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Flex Security Officers . This role offers $18.00 per hour

Flex Officer Summary

As a Flex Security Officer , you will provide coverage for a variety of shifts and locations based on business needs. You will fill in for absences, vacations, and temporary security assignments. Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be able to work at multiple client sites across Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts

General Job Duties

• Provide professional customer service
• Control access points (entry / exit) at client sites
• Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to inspect buildings and grounds
• Monitor security via CCTV surveillance systems
• Observe, report, and document suspicious activities & incidents
• Respond to emergency situations following established protocols

Minimum Qualifications

18 years of age or older

Valid driver's license & reliable transportation

Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)

High school diploma or GED
